Southridge Rnd II Downhill Photos

I know a few weeks have flew by since round 2 of the Southridge Winter Series, but I am finally getting around to posting a few photos from the Downhill race on Sunday. I am a little behind on the rest of the SRC mountain bike racing as well, but will have those up soon as well. I am looking forward to the finals on March 3rd and 4th. Southridge Winter Series Round two

Well it looks like it may be a nice weekend for the races at Southridge this weekend. With rain in the forecast pre race day, the trails should be in great shape as long as it’s not too much rain. I wouldn’t mind throwing my bike in and doing the Super D, but more than likely I will just make the drive out with my camera a get photos of the Downhill Mountain Bike racing action, and some of the Super D. I missed round one, but did make it out for the 20th ANNUAL Southridge USA CHALLENGE and got some great photos of the downhill practice and those can be found in my galleries and previous blog. Hopping for a good overnight rain and clear sky tomorrow.

Weeked Surf Photos

I had been following the swell that was hitting the Orange County shoreline, and knew I would not be able to surf, so I grabbed my camera gear and headed down the coast. My first stop was Seal Beach to grab some photos, the swell was still there, but the high tide had shut it down a bit. I ended up getting some great photos of the Skimboarders as well as the bodyboarders. We stuck around Seal Beach about an hour or two then down the coast some more, We pulled into the Huntington Cliffs, and watched for a while, but no photos were taken. We ended up at the Huntington Beach Pier and took a ton of surf photos of the North side of the pier. I really wish I could have went out, the conditions just got better as the day went, the size wasn’t as big as they had forecasted, but the shape and conditions were great. I will be posting more photos from the day, as well as photos from the Sean Collins Paddle Out that was held on the Southside of the pier on Sunday. For now here are a few to look at.

Huntington Beach Photos

With the Holiday season in full swing, I haven’t had much time to get out and do photography, so I had to do something this weekend. With all the crazy weather we have been having I thought we may get a great sunset, but on my way to the beach the sky almost totally cleared up except a few clouds. I ended up at Huntington Beach Pier and did what I could as far as photos, it wasn’t the best conditions, but at least I got out to take some beach photos. I think I ended up with about 15 photos of the pier, and then just random photos around Huntington Beach.

Racing Gallery Photos Added

Well I finally got around to putting a few photos on the racing gallery. So far I have some boat racing photos from various locations as well as some from the 2010 Best of the Desert Parker 425. This section will have every kind of motorsports racing from Desert to Track, and Open Ocean to lakes and rivers. This gallery should be updated quite often with racing action photos. I will also post upcoming events I will be at on the blog as well, so you can check back for the race photos after the event.

New Boat Racing Photos Updated

I was going through photos and realized I never posted the 2010 Thanksgiving Regatta or the 2011 Sprint
Nationals at Marine Stadium in Long Beach. Both these venues offer great photo
locations and boat racing action at its best. I have over 600 event photos of

2011 Parker Thanksgiving Regatta Photos

I spent Thanksgiving weekend in Parker Arizona, and couldn’t
have asked for better weather sunny and in the upper 70′s low 80′s. Friday I
made it over to Blue Water to take photos of the 2011 65th Annual Thanksgiving Regatta.
Great racing action and perfect conditions made for some great boat racing photos.
I managed to get all classes of racing with multiple photos of each boat from
each class.
Saturday I made it out for a quick ski ride as well as took photos of skiing, hydrofoiling,
and random boats before heading back to the race on Saturday. More photos can
be found in the recent events tab or follow the link below to the full race gallery:

2011 Parker Thanksgiving Regatta

I will be heading to Parker to spend Thanksgiving weekend and it always seems like there is so much ot do over the weekend and never enough time to do it all. I will be taking photos of the 2011 Parker Thanksgiving Regatta on Friday as long as the light stays good. I know I want to get on the water myself at least once or twice over the weekend and of course we will hit the Desert Bar one day. Should be a good time with
weather in the upper 70s, boat racing, skiing, and just relaxing in the boat on the Colorado. Watch the blog as well as the Recent Events for photos of the Parker Regatta. I will post as soon as I can after getting back. Have a great weekend.

Southridge Downhill Practice Photos 2.19.11

I spent Saturday at Southridge in Fontana for the 20th ANNUAL Southridge USA CHALLENGE taking
photos of the Downhill action. Weather called for rain, so it was a little
cloudy and grey at times, but for the most part a great day, and what looked to
be a fun course. I took photos from different locations along the course, so I
came out with over 400 photos from the day. I didn’t make it back on Sunday,
but looking forward to the 2012 SRC winter series kicking off. More photos from
Saturday can be seen under the Recent Events tab and all of Saturdays photos
can be found at below.

2011 Lucas Oil World Finals – Boat Racing

So we are debating on driving out to Phoenix tomorrow and heading to Firebird Lake for the Lucas Oil World Finals, If we make it we will have plenty of boat racing and action photos to post when we get back. Should be a fun little road trip, I will post photos in the racing gallery, as well as a new blog about the trip and the event. Here are a few photos from the 2011 Bayfair races in San Diego.
